A necessary and sufficient condition is derived for the stability robustness of a unity feedback closed-loop system involving a strictly proper plant Po and a stabilizing compensator Co under the assumption that the plant Po is perturbed to Po + AP, where AP, is a known strictly proper rational matrix.
